The collaboration fills the gap left by discontinued AR platforms, offering a future-proof, enterprise-ready alternative
TOKYO – July 1, 2025 — frontline.io, the leading provider of XR solutions for training and operational support, today announced it has been selected as the software provider for the newly released HMS SiNGRAY G2 AR headset. Through a dedicated partnership with HMS, a Japanese innovator in AI-powered smart devices and cloud solutions, frontline.io’s innovative AR software will be pre-installed and optimized on the SiNGRAY G2 device, introducing an industrial-grade AR solution to enterprises.

Industries such as manufacturing, printing, medical device, aerospace and defense, semiconductor and agricultural machinery operate every day with complex machines and processes that require careful handling, intense maintenance and specialized skill training. frontline.io’s cornerstone digital twin technology allows enterprises to master their machinery without the need for physical interaction. By incorporating frontline.io’s software directly onto the HMS SiNGRAY G2 headset, enterprises are equipped for seamless, scalable AR deployments on factory floors, in fieldwork and high-intensity logistics environments from day one.
“The disruptions that the discontinuation of HoloLens 2 and Magic Leap 1 caused showed us a significant opportunity to fill a much-needed gap in the industry. We’re excited to partner with HMS and utilize the power of the SiNGRAY G2 to deliver unrivaled AR software capabilities to businesses worldwide,” said Itzhak Pichadze, CEO of frontline.io. “After working with HMS on this for the past year, we’re able to deliver users an ultra-smooth presentation of real-time digital twin interactions and guided workflows on the best wearable AR device.”
The new device comes equipped with one of the highest HD resolutions within the AR headset space, at 1920×1080 Micro-OLED displays per eye, and a frame rate of 90 Hertz. It also has a 47° diagonal field of view, industrial-grade spatial tracking with switchable modes between 3 and 6 degrees of freedom, a front glass with controlled darkness levels to enable working in different lighting environments and a 4,800 mAh swappable battery designed for extended use out in the field.
Built on Qualcomm’s QCS8550 chipset with integrated Intel Movidius AI processing, the SiNGRAY G2 produces low-latency renderings of complex 3D models. This enables remote collaboration across teams and provides a next-generation experience of frontline.io’s digital twin platform.
“The SiNGRAY G2 represents a leap in AR hardware innovation to meet the evolving needs of our enterprise customers,” said Dr. Zhencheng Hu, President & CEO of HMS. “Through this partnership, users can better navigate the ongoing shifts to remote work and globally integrated teams, and achieve device continuity.”
Pre-orders of the HMS SiNGRAY G2 with frontline.io’s integration will be available to select enterprise customers in late 2025 and mass production is set for early 2026. Early demonstrations and first looks of the device are available at the XR & Metaverse Fair Tokyo from July 2 to 4, 2025, at the West Exhibition hall at booth 20-67. Additional information, photos and materials can be accessed in the press kit.
